When do I have to wear a Face mask?

You will need to wear a face mask in communal areas and in our auditorium, cinema and café bar, unless you are eating or drinking. In socially distanced classes where a 2m distance is possible masks are at the participant's discretion. The tutor will advise you about this. We understand that some visitors may be exempt from wearing masks.

How many people can I sit inside with, e.g. in the Café Bar, auditorium or cinema?

We can accommodate groups of up to 6 (from any number of households), or more than 6 if you are strictly members from 2 households.

How many people can I sit outside with?

Social distancing measures are in place on our outside terrace area. Please contact our cafe bar team if you are planning to attend with a group of 8 or more to check that we can accommodate you. (Legally up to 30 people may sit outside together but this is at the discretion of the Café Bar team and subject to other bookings and available space.)

For events, Do I need to book my ticket In Advance?

Tickets: We advise you to pre-book so that we can advise you of the measures we have in place. We would like you  to book tickets online or over the phone in advance where possible but our friendly Box Office team is on hand should you not be able to do so.

Do I need to book a table for your Café Bar in advance?

Advance booking is not necessary and we are accepting walk-up customers at this time. If you would prefer to book a table in advance you can do so by emailing phoenixcafebar@exeterphoenix.org.uk. (If you are requesting a table within the next 48 hours please call 01392667062 and leave a message. Our Café Bar team are busy serving customers at peak times so it is not always possible to answer calls.)

Can I take food and drink into the cinema / auditorium?

Yes you can order from a takeaway area in the cafe bar and take food/drink in to our spaces. For larger auditorium events you can order via the Exeter Phoenix App. Instructions  will be given upon arrival and our staff will be able to advise you when you visit.

I am attending an event. When should I arrive?

Please arrive no more than 30 minutes before your event starts unless you are joining us for a drink in our cafe bar pre-event. In this case, we advise you to book a table in advance by calling 01392 667062 or emailing phoenixcafebar@exeterphoenix.org.uk.

How are you maintaining cleanliness around the venue?

Our team are regularly cleaning all areas and before and after all events.

What is the ventilation like indoors?

Areas are well ventilated before the event you are attending and where possible windows and doors are open to aid the air flow.

What do I need to do for Track and Trace?

We are asking all customers to log in via the NHS App, there are QR code poster around the building for this. If you are unable to do so, we will ask for your contact details.
