In response to the developing coronavirus situation in the UK, Exeter Phoenix is currently closed to the public. This is a temporary measure and we are taking this on a month-by-month basis. The vast majority of events will be rescheduled for later in the year. We are following government advice and acting in the best interests of our visitors and staff.
Unprecedented closures like this will be hugely damaging for charities like Exeter Phoenix and many other sectors. Were reliant on our community to provide over 80% of the cost of running Exeter Phoenix each year. After seeing several members of our community reaching out to ask how they can help, we have provided a number of suggestions for how you can support Exeter Phoenix here >>
In this exciting and action packed two day course youll be given a chance to learn the basics of independent filmmaking by getting stuck in and making a short 3 minute film.
Working with the rest of the group youll get a chance to come up with, plan and shoot a short film. Along the way you will be taught camera skills, the basics of sound recording and how to light a scene for different effects. This fun challenge is designed to get you started in the world of low budget filmmaking and helps give you the confidence to get out there and make your own masterpiece!
We offer a range of film production courses covering scriptwriting, cinematography, sound, editing and visual effects, please do take a look at the full programme of courses available.
Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.
