The 10th Annual Exeter Poetry Slam

Tim King and Amie-Lee Richardson proudly host the 10th Annual Exeter Poetry Slam. If you’ve never been to a spoken word event before this is a great place to find out what it’s all about.

Twelve of the finest poetic performers from across the South West go head to head to find the latest Exeter Slam Champion. If previous years are anything to go by, competition will be fierce as past winners include: Edinburgh Festival favourites Robert Garnham and Chris White, the glorious Amani Saeed and current UK National Slam Champion Birdspeed.

There will be a £75 cash prize for the winner alongside the chance to headline at Taking the Mic early in 2020 (worth another £25).

A panel of three expert judges (TBA) will also perform as part of the competition.
