Four of Swords and Exeter Phoenix present Sherlock Holmes & The Mystery of How to Act on Film!
Building on the success of Summer Film School, which has been thrilling and inspiring young people for the past three years, Four of Swords and Exeter Phoenix are re-teaming to offer a two day workshop focusing on Acting for Film. Some practical film-making experience will be available, but for the most part this is an acting workshop. It will be tutored and overseen by Sarah White and Philip Kingslan John, co-founders and directors of the Exeter-based theatre and media company Four of Swords. The outcome of the two days will be a short film based on an original Sherlock Holmes story, developed by and starring the kids.
Sign up now, places will be limited and this is likely to be a popular event.
Four of Swords Theatre was founded in 2012, born of two friends determination to create sensational theatre. After several months of careful planning, in 2013 Four of Swords exploded onto the South West theatre scene. Since 2014, they have been involved in Exeter Phoenixs Summer Film School and will be combining their filmic and theatrical expertise for this new workshop.
