Ever felt like you’d like to go dancing but don’t have the energy to stay up until midnight for the privilege? Now you don’t have to. A new initiative from EDP Drug & Alcohol Services, Active Devon and Exeter Phoenix is bringing dancing to the morning.
Inspired by the Morning Gloryville rave events in London they are bringing Exeter its very own ‘Morning SoberRave’. It’s a chance to get active through dancing at a welcoming and fun event before heading off to the rest of your day.
The free event will take place on Friday 22nd September between 8am and 9am at Exeter Phoenix. Music will be provided by DJ’s taking part in EDP Drug & Alcohol Services Recovery Sound System project which aims to connect people through music.
The event is for the whole community and all ages.
EDP Drug & Alcohol Services aims to improve the health, wellbeing and employability of individuals and their families affected by substance misuse, mental health issues, and other harmful addictive and offending behaviour. For more information, please visit www.edp.org.uk
Active Devon is a community focussed, not for profit organisation inspiring and supporting the people of Devon to lead active lifestyles. For more information, please visit activedevon.org.
