Italian Cultural Association Exeter brings together a fine selection of short films by emerging and established Italian filmmakers that live in Devon, offering a taste of Italian culture though visual story telling and previously unseen titles.

This screening is part of Celebrate Exeter DiverCity project, working together with Exeter’s differing heritage communities, delivery by Devon Development Education. Hosted as part of the Italian Festival presented by Italian Association.

This awarded documentary won Best Documentary from “Il gusto della memoria” Festival, in 2013. In a tale that goes through the 1900s, Italy, it explores the relationship between donkeys and men.

A collection of interviews of Italians living in Devon

An observation on migration issues and memory , by Valentina Todino, Danielle Hipkins and students of the Department of Italian at University of Exeter. Special thanks to Alice Farris.  Supported by the Alumni fund, University of Exeter.
