    TWO DAY WORKSHOP

    SESSION DATES

    • Thu 19 Mar: 10am – 5pm
    • Fri 20 Mar: 10am – 5pm

Run in collaboration with Fab Lab Devon this two-day course covers how to use your own artwork and ideas to creatively produce an individual design using Adobe Photoshop and print it onto a tote bag using dye sublimation techniques.

Bring your original artwork/scans/photos, either on paper or on a memory stick – it will also be possible to scan images in the digital suite. And these images will be used to produce a design that you will print, using Dye Sublimation printing, onto a tote bag.

The course will teach you how to scan and digitally size your images ready for printing, use Photoshop layers, create geometric shapes, manipulate your images, save images in Photoshop Pattern library and prepare your design ready for printing. You’ll come away with an introduction to Adobe Photoshop and dye sublimation printing that you will be able to use to develop your own future designs.

Please note that some of this course will take place in the Fab Lab Devon facility in Exeter Central Library, next door to Exeter Phoenix.

Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.
