Dina, an eccentric suburban woman who loves The Kardashians, invites her boyfriend Scott, a Walmart door greeter, to move in with her. Having grown up in a neurologically diverse in a world blind to the value of their experience, the two are head-over-heels for one another, but shacking up poses new challenges for both. As the two approach marriage, Scotts anxieties and insecurities come to the fore as he tries to deal with their conflicting approaches to romance and intimacy.
Winner of a Grand Jury prize at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, Dan Sickles and Antonio Santinis non-fiction romantic comedy is a candid yet intimate exploration of an evolving love story.
Alternately comic and tragic and best when its both at once, Dina humanises a world of people who were only dehumanised because we allowed them to be.’
