This course is aimed at those wishing to develop a more abstract way of working and will draw on seasonal changes in the landscape for inspiration as well as your own favourite images and memories. We will also be looking at art history and the work of artists for insights.
Sophie Berger is a practicing fine artist with work in UK and international galleries, she is a regular teacher for the short courses at Plymouth College of Art and Kingbeare Studios as well as Exeter Phoenix. Sophie’s work is greatly affected by colour and atmosphere, both of which change due to weather and seasons, so observation of the environment and surroundings influence her work both directly as well as subconsciously.
Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.
