This workshop is a great introduction to Gelliplate printing. You will

An ideal course for those wishing to further develop an individual abstract painting style. Explore a range of techniques for developing painting skills, use of colour and composition.

Create an abundance of collage papers using Gelli plate printing
techniques, to devise unique and exciting new work.

This popular course takes a close look at the plants we use in our everyday lives in this course we will be drawing with pigments derived from some of these plants to create unique illustrations of the herbs, vegetables and flowers that have particular significance to us

Develop your approach to life drawing using our fantastic models for inspiration, investigate different materials and techniques to find new ways to represent the human form.

Design and make a unique amulet for protection or a talisman for luck. Your design may include clay beads to go with the amulet. There will be a number of different clay bodies to choose from, including porcelain, earthenware and stoneware.

Lumen printing creates soft, ethereal effects and a range of beautiful colours can be achieved using this technique. Using freshly cut flowers and foliage, workshop participants will be invited to create their own compositions onto paper and watch their images appear using daylight.

Using household materials such as vitamin c tablets and washing soda, participants will learn how to make their very own light sensitive chemistry. This can then be applied to light sensitive materials such as 35mm film to create unique prints.
