An Update On Events At Exeter Phoenix


We want to let you know that your comfort and safety continue to be our top priority, as well as your enjoyment of course.

Responding to the latest government advice and guidelines Exeter Phoenix will be making the following changes to our Covid measures and guidelines:


  • From Friday 10th December Mask-wearing is required* in all communal areas at Exeter Phoenix
  • Mask wearing is not required in the Cafe Bar but strongly encouraged and appreciated particularly when ordering from the bar
  • From Friday 10th December Masks are required* for cinema, and all seated events unless eating or drinking
  • From Friday 10th December Masks must* be worn within studios, unless impractical to do so – exercising or singing
  • From Wednesday 15th December, standing events will require negative lateral flow test evidence on arrival, or a Covid Passport and mask-wearing is strongly encouraged
  • We will continue with our increased and enhanced cleaning regimes.   
  • Hand Sanitiser units will remain in place throughout the building. 
  • We will maintain and monitor our airflow management to ensure optimum ventilation.  
  • Please do not attend events if you have suspected COVID symptoms or have been in direct contact with someone who has.  

We will continue to monitor and review best practice, our priority is your safety, comfort and peaceful enjoyment, we thank you so much for helping us continue to bring great events to our city

To broaden participation and to ensure the sustainability of our artists and of Exeter Phoenix, most of our spaces are back to full capacity.
