Exeter Phoenix recognises that moving image plays an important role in reflecting our culture, establishing individual voices and we can help filmmakers and artists develop new skills and long-term relationships with cast, crew and cinema audiences, both locally and nationally.
Level Of Funding
The 2016 Exeter Phoenix Raw Film Commission will offer ONE award of £500 for the development of an inspiring and ambitious narrative, which will engage a cinema audience though concise visual story telling. Ideas will speak to a cinema audience and will be innovative and unique enough to sit before the Studio 74 Cinema programme. The final film will be 3 minutes long.
Deadline
The deadline for applications is Mon 29 Feb 2016. Successful applicants will be contacted by Mon 28 Mar with an invitation to present your ideas in an interview. Interviews will take place mid April 2016.
Guidelines
Applicants must be able to prove they reside in Devon, UK. Applicants must be aged between 16-24 years. The following guidelines relate to the 2016 Raw Film Commission. Please read them carefully before submitting your application. Guidelines can be found here >>
Application Form
All applications must be made via our online submission process. Applicants must complete and submit this online form. The proposal should clearly demonstrate the tone, themes, genre and strategy of your ideas. We will not accept any supporting material at this stage other than the links provided above.
