Over 65 million people around the world have been forced from their homes to escape famine, climate change and war in the greatest human displacement since World War II. Human Flow is an epic film journey from internationally renowned artist Ai Weiwei, giving a powerful visual expression to this massive human migration. Captured over the course of a year in 23 countries the documentary elucidates both the staggering scale of the refugee crisis and its profoundly personal human impact.
Critically acclaimed on its release in 2017, although only 7 years ago, the world has changed in many ways but mass displacement of people around the world is an ongoing issue. Join us during Refugee Week to revisit Human Flow.
There will be a pre-screening discussion in the Secret Garden hosted by Refugee Support Devon at 6.45pm
