GARETH DAVIE
Born and raised in Pembrokeshire, Wales, Gareth Davie is a guitarist and singer songwriter with a passion for creating pop music. While being involved in music from a young age, he found his feet writing and composing after picking up the guitar at 15.
His love and interest in the field was compounded after getting involved in the University of Exeter’s music scene, where he joined a number of ensembles ranging from Jazz Big Bands all the way to forming a group inspired by the rising popularity of the LOFI genre.
Gareth continued to explore his passion for songwriting and performing, self-producing his first fully-original album The Real Thing in 2021. He released his single Ruin My Life in March 2023 to a very positive reception, and the track quickly became a fan favourite. After taking a year-long hiatus, Gareth released two singles in 2024, Bad Influence and Never Coming Back, to great success. On 2nd May 2025, Gareth released his second self produced album, Quantum Superposition, featuring these singles as well as many new tracks including the titular track, Quantum Superposition, which uncompromisingly embraces his musical background, featuring a full big band in a high-energy pop anthem – the largest ensemble yet seen in Gareth’s repertoire.
