Make Art from Money

Delve into some creative approaches to money. This is a great workshop for anyone interested in exploring a new artistic project (in any discipline), using money, economics and our relationship to them, as a starting point.

Workshop Leader – Joe Sellman-Leava

Joe is an actor and writer for stage and screen, who runs Worklight Theatre. Often working with memory and autobiography, Worklight’s shows often thread the personal with the political, and have toured internationally, to critical acclaim.

What to Expect

Following on from Worklight’s recent show IT’S THE ECONOMY, STUPID! this workshop offers creative ways to think about money, budgeting, our current economic system and how we might reimagine it. Open to creatives of all disciplines and experience levels, participants will be guided through a series of creative exercises, to better understand their own relationship with money and the economy. These exercises will lay the foundations for a new artistic project, for people to continue afterwards, if they wish.
