Since our leaders are behaving like children, we will have to take the responsibility they should have taken long ago.
Nathan Grossman documents Greta as she rises from school climate strikes to inspiring a global movement. The Swedish filmmaker spent a year capturing the emergence of a generational leader; starting at a point when most of the world had never heard of Greta Thunberg the film witnesses her evolve from obscurity as she reaches international attention with her viral videos and inspirational speeches.
Offering a unique view of her personal journey the film follows Greta to UN conferences, private meetings with world leaders and on a harrowing journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Despite challenging moments, teenage anguish and bitter criticism (from some of the most powerful men on the planet) Greta remains focused on her duty to change make the world sit up and actually listen.
