Academia can sometimes feel restricted to a special few, inaccessible to most. But it doesn’t always have to be. Trans and Non-Binary researchers from the University of Exeter have put together short talks explaining their areas of study, ranging from joy to Queer Monks and necromancy, and even how archaeology is a non-binary subject (which contains a brief interlude into corvids!). Feel free to come along and listen to these relaxed talks, and then chat with the researchers if you’re feeling inspired.

Come As You Are

Now in its third iteration at Exeter Phoenix, Come As You Are is a vibrant one-day festival which explores issues around gender identity and celebrates the local trans, non-binary and genderqueer community

The day is free, and includes a packed programme spread across the whole venue with performances, discussions, poetry, art, workshops, comedy, stalls and much more on offer to all visitors.
