Willow Weaving Workshop: Summer Swifts
Join us for an inspiring introduction to the art of willow weaving and craft a decorative sculpture. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll get to try out traditional weaving techniques and create a sculpture that captures this iconic summer visitor’s dynamic silhouette.
Suitable for adults and young people aged 12 years upwards of all skill levels, this hands-on session offers a relaxing environment to explore your creativity, connect with nature-inspired art, and take home a unique handcrafted piece. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and appreciation for craftsmanship!
COURSE TUTOR: Belinda Martin
Sculptor, designer and climate activist inspired by natural materials to create beautiful items, stimulate connections between people and enthuse hope through creativity. Belinda studied Fine Art in South Africa, Interior decor and design at Plymouth College of Art and Design and has worked internationally as a Climate campaigner in schools, community groups. She is passionate about food and always strives to know more about sustainable solutions which symbiotically work with nature for the greater good of the earth and all its inhabitants.
