Mads Mikkelson (Hannibal) is almost unrecognizable in this riotous, bawdy and transgressive black comedy which questions who we are, where we come from and what makes us human.

Discovering their father isn’t really their father, sad sack brothers Elias and Gabriel travel to the remote island of Ork in search of their biological parent. Greeted with an unconventional reception from their three seriously eccentric siblings, Elias and Gabriel discover a unique place – where bestiality is gleefully accepted, casual violence is the norm and unusual passions are indulged – and start to uncover the mysteries of their origins.

Elaborate, absurd and energetic, it is no surprise Men and Chicken has smashed the box office in its homeland.
