Online – Experts by Experience: “Mad Language” discussion

We are hosting “Mad Language”: an online open discussion on the impact of language on mental health. Tuesday 10th May 3.00 – 4.30pm.

Experts by Experience from The Bridge Collective invite you to an online open discussion on the impact of language on mental health.

Have you been given a label that puts you in a box?
Does medical language drive you mad?
Do you fear being stigmatised for your thoughts and feelings?

Come and share your thoughts with us.

ABOUT THE BRIDGE COLLECTIVE

We are a group of people whose lived experiences have sometimes been labelled as mental illness. Some of us use or have used mental health services, and our group includes people with experience of supporting friends and family.  We aim to share our experiences: in an environment of peer support, to promote positive public awareness, increase confidence in talking about mental health, to improve mental health services and increase access to a wide range of understandings about mental health.
