A boy travels across an island on a motorcycle, trying to escape a dark spirit and get back home. Along the way he makes a series of connections with different animals and reflects on the possible ways he ended up on the island. Part dream, part reality Away explore our common, universal need to find a connection.

It took director, Gints Zilbaladosis three and a half years to create this stunning and unique, animated fairytale from his home studio. Visual hints of Miyazaki and Michael Arias creep in yet it is an engrossing cinematic experience like no other.
