Scandifilm is a season of Nordic and Scandinavian cinema. It will take place through out January, February and March at Exeter Phoenix. Scandifilm is unique and enchanting. It will feature exciting film experiences that offer a taste of the Scandinavian culture. At Scandifilm you can see the best new dramas, enlightening documentaries and immerse yourself in the magic of cinema.
There will be five screenings, which will be accessible to Deaf audiences. This includes Girls Lost. The other accessible films will be Girls Lost, Nice People, The Happiest Day In The Life Of Olli Mäki and The Day Will Come.

Lake Bodom is a horror film based on a true story about four teenagers who were stabbed to death in their tent in 1960s. The crime was never solved. The film is set in present day, in Finland. Four teenagers go on a camping trip to the same site. They have heard about the murders that happened many years ago and they try to solve the mystery. As night falls their attempts to solve the crime does not go to plan.

Sarah and Linda discover an old Polaroid camera in the clearing of Sarah’s house. In their own selfishness they exploit the camera, only to discover what horrible past it hides.
