Course Tutor: Sparkly Sonia

( aka ‘ Sparkly Sonia’ because of her enduring love of the joyfulness of glitter and magical irridesence!) came to Exeter in 1989 to do a Fine Art degree and has stayed ever since.

She enjoys making mixed media collages using sequins,beads, material,paint and shiny things with playfulness and fun being an all important element of her creative process.

She also loves drawing with pencils or oil pastels and is often found ‘painting pictures on people’ (facepainting!)
