Sewing Basics: Beginners Machine Sewing

During this two week course you will learn the basics of how to machine sew and make your own apron. You will be shown how to work with a basic pattern (which will be provided) and guided through the construction step by step.

No experience required.

Professional Tutor

Lesley Strath is a professional seamstress with many years experience, making and designing bespoke wedding dresses. She has been working as a sewing tutor for Arrietty for the past 4 years.

Pre Course Information

• A notebook and pen.
• Basic sewing kit (if you have one)
