Since his sophomore award winning short film ‘Scarecrow’, Exeter based animator Ashley has worked on a plethora of horror and supernatural film including his animated feature ‘Borley Rectory’ (with Reece Shearsmith and Julian Sands), the Saturn award winning ‘Woodlands dark & days bewitched’ and sequences for Danny Robins BBC show ‘Uncanny’. Ashley discusses the launch of his career via the Exeter Phoenix, the animated films and the inspirations and techniques behind their creation.
