Photographer Misan Harriman is renowned for his wide-ranging work including powerful breakthrough images from the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, and capturing the Palestinian liberation movement on film. Shoot The People captures Harriman’s journey as he documents the global protest movements that drive social change.
This documentary reveals how Harriman’s lens brings the world’s activism to light and explores resilience of grassroots movements that are fighting for equality, civil rights, and social justice.

Synthetic Sincerity (PG)

The Synthetic Sincerity Lab based at the University of Southern England are trying to create authentic AI characters as part of a new research project. The head of the lab licences the work of filmmaker Marc Isaacs’ to better understand what his AI characters are lacking. Isaac's agrees on the condition that he can document the lab's working process.
Blending documentary with fiction, this film uses humour and innovative narrative techniques to form a reflection what the development of AI technologies means for the future of cinema.
