Headlined by Dustin Hoffman and Leo Woodall (The White Lotus, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy), Tuner follows veteran piano tuner Harry Horowitz (Hoffman) who is losing his hearing, and his shy apprentice Niki’s (Woodall) whose hearing is incredibly sensitive due to a condition which obliges him to wear earplugs at all times. Together, they’re the best tuners in New York city. But when Niki’s skills are called on in unusual circumstances, he is exposed to a criminal but lucrative side trade, cracking safes.

Oscar-winning documentarian Daniel Roher’s (Navalny) narrative debut is a satisfying watch that presents the world of a very specific profession.
