Surrealist Self Portraiture
One Day Workshop
Thu 01 Jan 1970
10.30am - 4pm
In this exciting new self portraiture class, we will be exploring the work of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo and the visionary painters Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo, who were linked to the Surrealist movement.
You will be guided through the illuminating processes of designing and painting your own Surrealist self portrait, using watercolour on paper.
Bring a photograph of yourself to draw from, also bring a few photos of people, pets or mementos that hold a special meaning for you.
All abilities welcome, and all materials will be provided.
