Moorish Pattern Design
One Day Workshop
Thu 01 Jan 1970
10.30am - 4pm
Learn how to draw beautifully intricate traditional Moorish patterns by hand, using just a set of compasses and a ruler.
Step by step guidance will be given to draw several traditional decorative patterns found in the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Southern Spain, and other notable architectural gems from the Moorish period (circa AD711-1492).
Suitable for all levels, although an ability to focus and work with precision is essential in this type of creative endeavour.
All tools and materials will be provided, but if you already own a compass do bring it along.
