Making and Using Pigments: Blues

Work with the blues of ancient times. In this 1-day workshop you will be shown techniques for mixing watercolour paint using Lapis and Egyptian Blue. These paints can then be used to create landscapes. Use fresh blue spring skies and your own imaginary inner landscapes as inspiration and please do bring along your own reference material if you have a particular image you want to work from.

All materials are provided.

Our Art classes can get messy, so attendees are encouraged to wear clothing suitable for painting in or bring along their own aprons.
