SPRING CYANOTYPE SERIES

A fresh spring series of our popular cyanotype workshops.

A further exploration of working with cyanotypes and an introduction to producing anthotypes a process that invoves making a light sensitive dye from vegetables such as beetroot.

We will be using seasonal plant material to create prints to record the season and experimenting with images printed onto acetate, using these as ‘negatives’ to print from.

All materials are provided.

COURSE TUTOR: NICKY THOMPSON

Nicky Thompson is a photographer who uses both traditional and experimental photographic techniques to document the natural environment and the communities around her home on Dartmoor. After lecturing in photography at Exeter School of Art for many years Nicky is now pursuing her own creative practice full time and has set up her own studio.
