Everyday Photography Skills

Due to the announcement of a second lockdown, this event is postponed. A new date will be announced as soon as it is confirmed, and original tickets will remain valid. Our box office team will be getting in touch with all ticket holders to let them know more details. We thank you for your patience with us as a reduced team works through these events.

This practical course is designed to teach you the established rules of composition and lighting to help you get the most from your pictures. Whatever your interest in photography whether it be landscape, street, portrait, or simply taking pictures of friends and family, many of these ‘rules’ can vastly improve your photography. We will also be exploring images that circumvent the ‘rules’ with success.

Good use of natural light can completely transform your photography and exploring this will form part of the course so you when you leave for the day you will be equipped with new ways of seeing photographic opportunities around you!

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn the basic skills to improve their photography, whatever device they shoot on. Attendees will need to bring their device with them and make sure they are fully charged, as well as bring a lead with which to download pictures.

Places are limited and pre-booking is required. To learn about the Covid-19 safety measures we have put in place please read the following information about your visit to Exeter Phoenix >>

Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.
