Big Screen in the Garden: The Ballad of Wallis Island (12)

Dir. James Griffiths
2025 | 100 mins | UK | English
Tom Basden, Tim Key, Carey Mulligan, Sian Clifford

Charles is an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island. He dreams of getting his favourite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer, back together. The fantasy becomes real when the bandmates and former lovers agree to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.

Balancing authentic emotions with British awkwardness The Ballad of Wallis Island is the perfect outdoor cinema choice for fans of comedy, music and feel-good films.
