Artist’s Workshop

Join Hospital Rooms artist Jon Emmony as he leads a sculpture workshop in which you will form shapes and textures based on the landscape. Sculptures will then be 3-D scanned and enhanced using digital software. You don’t need any previous art or digital experience to take part and will be guided through the process. All materials will be provided.

Jon Emmony is a digital artist and filmmaker who has created work for clients such as band The 1975, fashion designer Iris van Herpen, Nike and the V&A museum in London.

As part of his commission to create work for the Hospital Rooms project, as seen in the current Phoenix Gallery exhibition, Jon led a similar workshop with staff and service users at The Junipers, a brand new, purpose-built Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for Devon, based in the grounds of Wonford House in Exeter.
