5 WEEK COURSE

This course will help you develop your skills and offer an all-round approach for those wishing to improve painting ability. It  is ideal if you have completed one of our Acrylic Painting for Beginners courses and wish to learn more about painting techniques, composition, colour and styles. This course will draw from art history and contemporary fine art to help contextualise approaches to painting.

COURSE TUTOR: SOPHIE BERGER

Sophie Berger is a practicing fine artist with work in UK and international galleries, she is a regular teacher for the short courses at Plymouth College of Art and Kingbeare Studios as well as Exeter Phoenix. Sophie’s work is greatly affected by colour and atmosphere, both of which change due to weather and seasons, so observation of the environment and surroundings influence her work both directly as well as subconsciously.
