Jim Jarmsch (Patterson) reunites with his regular on screen collaborator Adam Driver along with a broad collection of stars such as Vickky Krieps, Tom Waits and Cait Blanchette in this bittersweet trio of short stories each concerned with the relationships between adult children, their somewhat distant parent (or parents).

Each of the three chapters are quiet, observational and non-judgemental with a hint of Jarmusch comedy and draw on the country they are each set in; Father – north-east US, Mother – Dublin and Sister Brother in Paris.
