Life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy (Olivia Colman) and Theo (Benedict Cumberbatch): successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids and beautiful home. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing – as Theo’s career nosedives while Ivy’s own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites.

Director Jay Roach (Bombshell) brings this explosive a reimagining of the 1989 classic film The War of the Roses, based on the novel by Warren Adler to the big screen alongside writer Tony McNamara (Poor Things) featuring a powerhouse supporting cast including Andy Samberg, Kate McKinnon, Ncuti Gatwa & Allison Janney and location shots from idyllic South Devon.

The Roses contains several sequences with flashing lights that may affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photosensitivities.
