A fantastic opportunity to get up close and draw from a real bird of prey from New Heights Falconry.
Working with Nicci and Sarah our regular art class tutors, take a rare opportunity to work from a real life bird of prey. The birds will include European Kestrels, Red Tail Hawks, Harris Hawks, Snowy Owls and African Spotted Eagle owls.
Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.

Sarah John BA Hons Applied Arts (Ceramics)/PTLLS
Sarah is a practising ceramics and fine artist and is a regular tutor at Exeter Phoenix. Observation of human and natural form (in both 2D and 3D media) has remained central to her interests. Sarah focuses on learning ways to see, that are key for expressing the world of form around us, and on sharing skills and techniques in an informal atmosphere, which bring out the best creative ideas.
Nicci Wonnacott, BA Hons Fine Art/PGCE Contextual Practice
Drawing is the grass roots of all art education offering a safe environment and encouraging Risk and Play as an ethos for creative practice.
As a passionate Art Educationalist Nicci Wonnacott has taught Degree Level Fine Art and has a wealth of experience working with all abilities from beginners to established artists. Nicci has been a practicing artist since 1990 and has worked internationally. Her work crosses over many art forms enabling her to teach a broad range of Art and Design subjects.
