Introducing Studio 74’s shiny new projector

This week, we are excited to announce that Studio 74 is getting a new projector!
Our new model, a shiny Christie, marks the beginning of a new chapter for Studio 74 and Exeter Phoenix. Studio 74 is Exeter’s only independent cinema with a programme packed full of documentaries, special screening events, groundbreaking new releases and unique film festivals.
We are dedicated to giving our audience the best cinema experience that we can. Our new projector is equipped with a highly efficient laser phosphor light source that will provide an enhanced image performance. So you can enjoy the same fabulous programme of films in an improved, immersive environment.
Exeter Phoenix is also paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future for the arts. the Christie is an efficient model that will reduce energy usage in Studio 74 by 75%. What a perfect addition to our solar-powered cinema!
The new projector will be ready for our audiences to enjoy from Fri 21 Aug.
