Big Screen in the Garden 2026

Big Screen in the Garden is in RAMM Gardens, Exeter EX4 3LS

Toilets, and accessible toilets, will be open for use in the Exeter Phoenix building.

There will be food and drinks available on the night.

You may also bring your own snacks but please do not bring glass or your own alcohol. 

We recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast and dressing accordingly.

Even on a warm day, it can get chilly in the evening so extra layers are always a good idea and maybe a cosy blanket! 

You can also bring picnic blankets and comfy cushions to sit on.

Big Screen is a popular event which often sells out. We therefore suggest you book a ticket before you travel to avoid disappointment.

A limited amount of tickets may be available on the gate for £9 but this cannot be guaranteed.

Gates will open at 7.30pm (approx. 90 mins before the film starts) to allow you to find a spot to sit, and order food and drinks as required.

So everyone has the best experience and view possible please leave your chairs at home and bring a picnic blanket and cushions. 

We have a deckchair option available to add on at checkout for £5 each. Availability is limited so we recommend booking in advance.

Legless back-supporting seating will be allowed on site. 

RAMM Gardens is accessed via steps within the garden. Step-free access is available via an alternative route through Rougemont Gardens. This route is slightly longer and includes a gradual incline.

Stewards will be on hand to assist and guide visitors on arrival, and throughout the event.

Accessible toilet facilities are available at Exeter Phoenix.

Descriptive Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DS) are available on the following screenings:

Descriptive Subtitles shows dialogue and information on other significant sounds. For example: when a phone rings, allowing D/deaf and hard of hearing customers to fully access the film.

We offer a complimentary ticket for personal assistants and companions. Please contact the Box Office and we will issue the complimentary ticket.

Please note, deckchairs are not included unless you choose to book one. 

You can add a deckchair for £5 when booking your ticket. This option is available at checkout. Availability is limited so we recommend booking in advance.

We can only allow Assistance Dogs on site.
