This summer we are offering a series of jewellery making workshops. All materials are provided and in each workshop you will be guided through the process of working with wire, semi-precious stones, crystals and charms to create your own necklace, set of earrings or a bracelet. Workshops can be booked individually or at a discounted price for all three.

Course Tutor: Lila Alvarado

Is a jewellery designer/maker who works with wire, crystals and semiprecious stones, she has been making and teaching handicrafts from the age of 15.

Lila is from Nicaragua and worked for the Nica Hope Project for 13 years as part of a successful Artisanal and Handicraft Development project started in 2008. She worked with children, teenagers, single mothers and adults from at risk communities teaching them jewellery making and other crafts, enabling them to generate income from their handicrafts.
