Tuner follows veteran piano tuner Harry Horowitz (Hoffman) who is losing his hearing, and his shy apprentice Niki’s (Woodall) whose hearing is incredibly sensitive due to a condition which obliges him to wear earplugs at all times. Together, they’re the best tuners in New York city. But when Niki’s skills are called on in unusual circumstances, he is exposed to a criminal but lucrative side trade cracking safes.

Orphaned at a young age, 18-year-old Marina must travel to Vigo on Spain’s Atlantic coast to obtain a signature for a scholarship application from the paternal grandparents she has never met.

Deeply troubled after learning of the suicide of a patient, a psychoanalyst (played Jodie Foster) suspects foul play. Enlisting the help of her ex-husband and sleuthing partner, their chaotic investigation takes them to unexpected places.
