Award-winning writer and performer Manganaro is coming to host a fresh new workshop at Maker Mart.

In this hands-on workshop we’ll be exploring the radical intersections between zines and writing, and have a go at making individual and personalised zines or poetry postcards. We’ll also be reflecting on the role of zines in feminist and queer culture, and the social significance of this amazing and unassuming innovation in subcultures!

All materials provided. Beginner friendly – no creative experience needed! Fully inclusive, all are welcome. Limited access but arrangements can be made on request.

The workshop takes place in Maker Mart on Gandy St.
