Puny Gods is a South-West based film festival. Our main purpose is to showcase the cutting edge works of award winning National and International film-makers.
Puny Gods Film Festival will showcase brand new films, docs, animations. Our objective is to première brand new works alongside film academies, scratch nights, talks, Q&As and panel discussions with audiences, critics and film-makers. We encourage established and amateur film-makers to submit their work and openly engage in discussion about their films with critics and the public. We support new technologies in the region and intend to inspire amateur film-makers to submit their works.
Our aim is to make Puny Gods into a promotional platform for film & documentary makers in the South-West. We want to bridge the gap between audiences, film-makers and critics and openly engage all three through talks, Q&As, scratch nights and a loose film academy.
By bringing film makers closer to their audiences we hope to increase public and commercial interest to the film making industry in the South-West.
