Willow Weaving Workshop: Large Festive Star Decoration
Create a willow star as a feature piece for your seasonal celebrations!
This session is suitable for all abilities so beginners are welcome. We will be crafting a Large Willow star measuring up to 50cm to adorn your front door or become a feature in your Christmas display indoors. We will be using locally sourced willow and your star should last several years.
You can personalise your star by adding some lights, foliage or dried flowers, maybe even some little festive decorations. If you have a favourite decoration that you might like to add, please feel free to bring your inspiration to the group.
The cost includes all basic materials and seasonal refreshments.
NB as there will be refreshments in the session please inform us of any allergies we should know about

COURSE TUTOR: Belinda Martin
Sculptor, designer and climate activist inspired by natural materials to create beautiful items, stimulate connections between people and enthuse hope through creativity. Belinda studied Fine Art in South Africa, Interior decor and design at Plymouth College of Art and Design and has worked internationally as a Climate campaigner in schools, community groups. She is passionate about food and always strives to know more about sustainable solutions which symbiotically work with nature for the greater good of the earth and all its inhabitants.
