Willow Weaving Workshop: Memory Vessel
Work with willow and other materials to weave a sculptural vessel to
use or to display as a decoration.
We will also be exploring our ideas in 2 dimensions creating sketches
using locally produced charcoal and other materials.
The cost includes all materials but you are invited to bring cloth, wool,
fleece or fabric which has a special significance to you to weave into
your vessel.
COURSE TUTOR: Belinda Martin
Sculptor, designer and climate activist inspired by natural materials to create beautiful items, stimulate connections between people and enthuse hope through creativity. Belinda studied Fine Art in South Africa, Interior decor and design at Plymouth College of Art and Design and has worked internationally as a Climate campaigner in schools, community groups. She is passionate about food and always strives to know more about sustainable solutions which symbiotically work with nature for the greater good of the earth and all its inhabitants.
