This series of talks offers a chance to find out more about the work of practicing artists, filmmakers, photographers and designers.
The talks are presented in partnership with Exeter School of Art.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
March Artist : Cine Sisters
Cine Sisters SW was set up in autumn 2020 in response to a lack of opportunities for women working in film in the SW. Their aim is to provide support, inspiration and opportunities at a grass roots level. They have just completed their first funded 12 months programme (with a grant from Arts Council England). This programme has included international online artists talks, offering a series of small commissions and screening opportunities and hosting a programme of in-person Mixer events.
They have established strong partnerships with regional organisations, and have built up engagement with makers and audiences. Kate Paxman and Laura Denning (co-directors) will share the journey so far and reveal our plans and hopes for the future.
