What is the class? A safe space to share thoughts and feelings.
Why should I go? Finding the funny is a valuable skill and life enhancer; it strengthens many interactions and perspectives.
This class focuses on developing or the further development of persona and who we are when open and playful. We will explore stories, experiences and your point of view on your field of interest in order to grow and develop as a leader. We will work on shedding norms and shine a light on flaws, foibles and funniness in order to grow as a enigmatic speaker.
The day will be structured by writing and editing material, followed by an end of day sharing of your ideas. Yeah folks youre going to do a snappy gig. This will run for the last 30 minutes you are welcome to invite guests to attend at 4pm.
Run by Dr Maggie Irving: teacher, speaker, and performer. PhD: The Female Clown Plymouth University. Lectured in comedy at, Winchester University. Runs various workshops from: stand-up, physical comedy, contemporary clowning, and public speaking in the South West.
