Vintage Seaside Photography

In this creative workshop you will learn the fundamentals of tissue transfer – a technique that allows you to transfer photographic images onto a variety of surfaces. Tissue transfer is commonly used in collage and decoupage, and can be used to create interesting, quirky surface pattern designs, and to give objects a personal touch.
  
Within this 3 hour workshop our focus will be on vintage seaside photographs, which we will transfer onto found pebbles using Mod Podge, a multi-purpose glue, sealant and varnish.

All materials will be provided, but you are invited to bring your own pebbles if you find any that you love! They need to have a flat, smooth surface in order to apply the images.

It is fun and can be a bit messy, so please bring an apron or old t-shirt to avoid getting your clothes dirty!

Workshops take place at Maker Mart independent gift and craft shop, located on Gandy Street.

Ticket price includes a choice of cocktail or mocktail from the Mermaid bar, served to you whilst you create.

Workshops require a minimum of two bookings to run. In the event that a workshop is cancelled you will be notified, and offered a refund.
