Theory & Practice: Deconstructing the Constructivists

    One Day Workshop

Examine the theory and ideas of Constructivists and use this to inform your own artwork.

In this workshop we will spend the morning considering slides concerning the political subversion of propaganda from the Russian Revolution, the rise of mass production and use of the printing press through poster art. We will consider the manifesto and it’s origins in Art History.

After lunch we will move to the Studio to create our own manifesto and work in mixed media to create a poster that represents your political own concepts.
